The Master Suite (The Love Home Challenge: Week 3)

Week 3 - Master Suite -- of The Love Your Home Challenge

Welcome back to our third week of the Love Home Challenge. This week we are focusing on our Master Suites – OUR bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets. Hmmm … maybe what we all need to do to fall in love with our Master Suites again is to have a few hours of silence to take a really nice nap. Yep, that’s it. That is your first assignment this week: take a nap. Maybe that will help you feel up to whatever is next.

Do you love your master bedroom area? Do you currently share this area with tiny people? Do you have anywhere in your home that you can consider personal space or couple’s space. This week might be a good time to choose a project that promotes a peaceful feeling whenever you’re in your room, bathroom, or closet. I’m very careful with what I allow in my master bedroom area!  Here is a little tour of my master bedroom if you want to see. And here is a little tour of my bathroom if you’re interested in that too.

The project I will feature on the blog this week is adding something very sentimental and meaningful to my decor. But, since that is such a simple thing, I’ll also add a few other small projects, like giving my clothes a little organizing refresher and re-organizing my suitcases and traveling stuff.

Here are some posts that might give you inspiration on selecting your organizing or decorating project this week:

And be sure to look out for my post this week with my decor update!!

With a million options, it may be hard to choose one project! What will you do this week?

  1. If I ever move again, I’m going to pack for a two week vacation then add stuff like computers and TVs then gut the rest. Not really, but it feels that way.

I removed something small but it will be useful to someone else and was just gathering dust in my room. :-D

  2. I guess this will get me caught up on this challenge after a late start! Today, I rearranged the furniture in my master bedroom to see if it would help with some of the minor annoyances I had with the previous set-up. I’m going into this as a trial, since the cable outlet is keeping me from an ideal furniture arrangement, but after thinking about moving things around for months, this challenge (and buying some of those furniture sliders) gave me the nudge I needed to finally do it! If nothing else, the dust bunnies under the furniture that were out of reach are now gone!

Leave a comment! I love to hear what you think!
