2016 Holiday Guide {FREE PRINTABLE}

It’s THAT time of year again. The time we should see a mile away, thanks to the Christmas stuff that has been in the stores for more than a month now, but somehow it sneaks up on us anyway. Over the weekend, I mentioned to Matt that I was working on the 2016 Holiday Guide and he replied “is it time for that already?” My thoughts exactly! Thank goodness for my calendar reminding me what to do next, or I wouldn’t have even thought of this.

But, that’s how it always is, right? And it is especially true of so many of the little things we like to do over the Holidays. Since those things aren’t in our regular routine, we don’t always remember them until the last minute. Then, at the last minute, a million things all collide and have to happen seemingly at once, which results in rushed feelings and sleepless nights. All I can say to that is “No, Thank You.” I don’t want to live like that!

I figured out years ago that if I made a list of all the things I wanted to do during these crazy-busy seasons, and then spread those things out on a calendar, then I could get all those important family traditions in without feeling overwhelmed.

It’s simple, really.

And I have a Holiday Guide that will get your through it!

How To Use The Holiday Guide

Step 1: The Checklist

The Holiday Guide has a checklist to get you started and help you think of things that are easily forgotten. Scratch out things that don’t apply to you and add in your own!

Step 2: The Calendar

The Holiday Guide has a sample calendar that you can use and adapt, and also a blank calendar so you can personalize your schedule from scratch. Using your Checklist, fill in the calendar with all of your to do items!

Step 3: Follow the Plan

Now that you’ve made a plan, follow it! You’ll be amazed at how good it feels to be ahead this time of year. I’ve included extra links in a resource directory in the Holiday Guide to help you even further.

  1. This is great! Thank you!
    For the List of Additional Holiday Printables though, do you have a version for Chrome? My computer doesn’t do Internet Explorer. I would love to have a copy of these.

    1. The links should open in any default internet browser. My browser of choice is Chrome, so I know it works on that. :) I use a Mac and haven’t used Internet Explorer for this, but it should work on that too.

Leave a comment! I love to hear what you think!
